Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle personal data on tripkitpro.co.uk, in line with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR. The operator of this site is the data controller.

1. Your content stays on your device

Anything you create with this tool is processed in your browser and saved only to your own device (browser storage). We never receive it, and it is never uploaded unless the tool explicitly offers an export that you choose to use.

2. Statistical analytics (no consent needed, opt-out any time)

We use Google Analytics 4 solely to see how this tool is used so we can improve it, under the statistical-purposes exception in PECR (Data (Use and Access) Act 2025; ICO guidance April 2026). Google acts strictly as our processor: all Google data-sharing settings are off, there are no advertising features, no Google Signals, and data retention is set to the minimum (2 months). GA4 sets _ga cookies with a pseudonymous client ID. You can switch this off at any time using the toggle in the first-visit notice or on the Cookie Policy page; opting out stops collection before any data is sent and deletes existing GA cookies. We do not use session replay on this site.

3. Server logs

Cloudflare Pages (our host) may retain short-lived access logs for security and abuse prevention. These are not used for profiling.

4. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure and restriction, object to processing, and complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk. Because analytics data is pseudonymous and your content never leaves your device, we typically hold no data that identifies you.
